The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has imposed a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention on the head of the NABU unit based in Dnipro, who is suspected of aiding the aggressor state.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the measure of restraint was determined without an alternative to bail until September 16, 2025.

According to the investigation, the suspect, coordinating NABU activities in the frontline regions, maintained contacts with representatives of the Russian economic sector. He facilitated the illegal export of industrial hemp to the Republic of Dagestan, acting as an intermediary between Russian buyers and his father, an entrepreneur who organized the illegal cultivation of this product.

In this way, the suspect ensured the functioning of the illegal trade scheme with the aggressor state, in fact, assisting in conducting economic activities in the interests of Russia.

The investigation also documented the suspect's ties with former MP Fedir Khrystenko, who is currently hiding abroad, cooperates with enemy special services and has influence on certain NABU officials.

In his declaration for 2024, the NABU official indicated that during the full-scale invasion, he became the owner of three apartments in Bulgaria and Kyiv, as well as a 2022 Tesla Model Y. He purchased the car in 2023, the apartment in Bulgaria in July 2022, and the apartment in Kyiv in 2024. In addition, in January 2022, he acquired ownership of an unfinished apartment in Odesa with an area of 30.2 square meters.

Although Ruslan Magamedrasulov, as one of the heads of the NABU's Interregional Detective Department, was supposed to be stationed in Dnipro and responsible for work in the frontline regions, he was almost constantly in Kyiv and had recently returned from an elite vacation on the island of Tenerife, where he had spent several weeks.
