Contractor selected without auction for reconstruction of gymnasium basement in Odesa Oblast at UNICEF expense

The Department of Education of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Council in Odesa Oblast conducted a procurement to determine the contractor to be paid for the reconstruction of the basement of Gymnasium No. 5 to be adapted as a simple shelter.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, the relevant information was published in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

According to the system, the procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special conditions, and the only participant was Malone Group Limited Liability Company. If the deal is concluded, the company will have to complete the work by August 20, 2026, and receive UAH 10 million 336.4 thousand for it.

At the same time, UAH 8 million 613.7 thousand are UNICEF funds intended to support and strengthen Ukraine's response to the needs of children to support subnational education authorities and educators to provide sustainable education services, including remedial education at the pre-school, primary and secondary education levels. Another UAH 1 million 722.7 thousand is provided for in the budget of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi as funds for the preparation and implementation of public investment projects and public investment programs at the expense of the local budget in the field of education.

Earlier, the Department of Housing and Communal Services in Odesa region summarized the results of a tender to select a contractor to restore the parking lot for heavy vehicles in Izmail. The truck parking lot will be arranged on the way to the transshipment points of the Izmail Commercial Sea Port. According to the terms of the contract, it should be completed within the next six months. All the necessary work is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The works will be financed in several tranches during the specified period.
