Construction of a solar power plant for a hospital has begun in Mykolaiv

Mykolaiv is taking another step towards energy independence by launching the construction of a solar power plant at one of its medical facilities.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.

<span>The project is being implemented under the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Department of Energy Efficiency and GIZ.</span> According to the city mayor, this will be a step towards energy independence and will reduce costs.

Mykolaiv has become a leader in the renovation of residential buildings. Since the launch of theRestore Your Home program Mykolaiv has been ranked first in Ukraine in terms of both the number of applications submitted and the number of funded condominiums. 262 applications were submitted from Mykolaiv for a total amount of over UAH 554 million. Of these, 136 projects have already been fully completed, with over UAH 234 million spent.

In addition, Mykolaiv is among the top three leaders in terms of activity in theENERGODOM program for the modernization of the housing stock. Under this program, 77 applications were submitted, of which 28 projects have already been completed. Mykolaiv is also in the top three in theGreendom program, which provides for the installation of solar power plants on the roofs of condominiums. 20 applications were submitted from the city for more than UAH 22 million.

Based on a set of indicators, Mykolaiv is one of the most active cities in Ukraine in implementing projects to restore apartment buildings.

The "eRestoration" program continues to work in Mykolaiv region, and payments of over UAH 724 million have already been approved for 6,597 applicants.

This means that these people can receive funds to repair their homes. As of today, thousands of homeowners have already received their first payments, enabling them to start the most necessary repairs. For those whose property was completely destroyed, there is an option to receive a housing certificate. This option allows you to purchase new housing to replace the lost one. More than a thousand owners have exercised this right, and several dozen more have received financial compensation for independent construction.
