The Executive Committee of the Reni City Council signed a contract for UAH 357.5 thousand with the Kyiv-based company Safe City. Security" for the construction of a traffic monitoring system in the village of Orlivka.

This was reported by an Intent correspondent with reference to the public procurement website Prozorro.

According to the system, the tender was held in the format of procurement without the use of an electronic system and the company had no competitors.

The works will be financed under the European grant project "CBConnect Trans - Development of cross-border intermodal communication between Isakcha-Orlivka-Tulcha-Izmail (CBConnect - Trans)".

They are scheduled to be completed by December 1, 2023.

It should be noted that in July, the estimated part of the construction project received a positive expert report from the Kyiv-based Expertise MWC LLC.

The creation of a transport infrastructure monitoring system is one of the measures to ensure traffic safety in the village and on the Orel section of the Odesa-Reni international highway with a large traffic flow. The next stage is the creation of a transport hub, the main purpose of which will be to organize the transport and logistics structure in the community, to ensure the effective development of the community as a transport and tourist hub.

The cross-border project "CBConnect-Trans - Development of Intermodal Communication on the route Izmail-Orlivka-Isaccea-Tulcea", funded by a grant from the European Union under the joint program "Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020", aims to develop passenger traffic and transport infrastructure to continue the rapprochement of the Ukrainian and Romanian Danube.

According to the press service of the Izmail City Hall, there are four partners in the project, which is to be implemented by the end of 2023: Isakcha, Tulcha, the city of Izmail, and Reniiska ATC, which includes Orlivka, which was a project partner at the final stage of project approval.

According to the YouControl service, Safe City. Okhoda LLC was registered in 2016. The final beneficiaries are currently Oleksii Vykhristiuk and Oleksandr Mylko.

Also, the contractor for the conversion of a school shooting range in Odesa region into a shelter was chosen without an auction.

The Odesa Housing and Maintenance Department (KEU) has pre-selected a contractor for the overhaul of the building's basement.
