Billion-dollar tender in Mykolaiv region is among the most expensive procurements of the week

The State Audit Service of Ukraine has ranked the five largest procurements in the Prozorro system over the past week. The second place in this list was taken by a tender announced in Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by the State Audit Service of Ukraine.

The region announced a procurement for UAH 1.64 billion for the maintenance and repair of national roads.

This tender became the second largest procurement in Ukraine last week, second only to Ivano-Frankivsk region, which allocated UAH 2.37 billion for major road repairs. The top five also included:

According to the terms of Mykolaiv region's tender, namely, maintenance of national roads (additional works) for UAH 1.64 billion, the contractor has until April 30, 2027, to carry out a set of works on 814 km of roads in the region. These include repairing damage and deformations to the road surface, restoring infrastructure destroyed by natural disasters (floods, landslides), repairing curbs and road fences, and strengthening roadsides and slopes.

The works will be carried out, in particular, on such important roads as M-13 Kropyvnytskyi - Platonove, M-14 Odesa - Melitopol - Novoazovsk, H-24 Blahovishchenske - Mykolaiv, as well as on the entrance to Mykolaiv Airport and other roads.

Contractors are currently accepting bids, and the auction is scheduled for September 22.
