Anti-personnel mine and explosions from the sky: occupants injured a woman and attacked a hospital in Kherson region

In Kherson region, 36 settlements came under enemy fire during the day. One person was killed, nine others were wounded, and housing and infrastructure were damaged as a result of the Russian attacks.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration.

During the day from July 22 to July 23, 2025, 36 settlements of the Kherson region came under fire from Russian troops. Among them are Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Dudchany, Tyahyntsi and Novovorontsovka.

The occupants attacked critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The enemy shelling damaged a multi-storey building, 14 private houses and a private car. One person was killed and nine others were injured in the attacks.

Around 08:00 on July 22, Russian occupants shelled the village of Inzhenerne with artillery. A 62-year-old man who was on the street was hit by the enemy. The victim was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to his arm and back.

At approximately 08:10, Russians launched an artillery attack on Kherson. As a result of the shelling, a 54-year-old man sustained an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to his leg and chest. Also, a 55-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after sustaining explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds to her torso, arms and legs.

In the morning, the Russian military killed a resident of Beryslav. A 69-year-old man came under enemy fire. He received injuries incompatible with life.

Around 10:00 in the village of Chervonyi Mayak, a local resident was injured by the detonation of Russian explosives. The 70-year-old woman stepped on a Russian anti-personnel mine "Lepestok". She sustained an explosive injury, amputation of her leg and shrapnel wounds.

In the afternoon, the Russian occupiers attacked the village of Urozhayne with a UAV. The enemy drone landed near a local health care facility. As a result, the building's facade and windows were damaged.

On July 21-22, three private houses, two high-rise buildings, agricultural machinery, and private cars were damaged.

On the morning of July 22, seven people were injured in the artillery shelling of Kherson. The aggressors also shelled the building of the Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater named after Mykola Kulish. The attack damaged the theater's facade, one of the columns, the front door and three windows in the theater-cafe.
