Almost 1,500 objects damaged by shelling examined in Mykolaiv

The Office of State Architectural and Construction Control has reported for 2024. Over the past year, about 1,500 objects were inspected.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.

According to the press service, 2024 was a key year for Mykolaiv in the context of infrastructure restoration and optimization of construction processes. The Department of State Architectural and Construction Control (SACC) focused its efforts on effective planning, compliance with the law, and transparency in the construction sector.

The department's activities covered three main areas:

Over the past year, 1,436 inspections of facilities affected by Russia's aggression were conducted. This allowed us to plan the restoration of the facilities and provide assistance to the affected citizens under the EU Recovery Program and international initiatives.

The department conducted 10 unscheduled inspections, issued 9 orders to eliminate violations and 5 orders to stop construction works. Nine administrative reports were drawn up, and fines amounted to UAH 319 thousand 56, of which UAH 866 thousand 126 were collected.

Special attention was paid to improving the process of registering permits. This ensured convenience for citizens and businesses and contributed to the transparency of construction processes.

In 2025, the SACC plans to continue improving procedures to ensure transparency and compliance with the law, contributing to the city's recovery and development.

The Department of Housing and Communal Services also reported on the restoration of residential buildings and city infrastructure. The total cost of these activities exceeded UAH 126 million.

In 2024, specialized organizations conducted 67 inspections of residential facilities, carried out routine repairs in 10 buildings, major repairs in 5, and dismantled a building destroyed by an enemy missile strike.

In addition, local governments presented the results of infrastructure and housing restoration in Mykolaiv Oblast. According to these data, the region is confidently moving forward, overcoming the consequences of the destruction caused by the war. UAH 1.58 billion was allocated to restore the affected facilities.
