On the night of April 27, Russians once again attacked the port infrastructure of Greater Odesa and the facilities that ensure the operation of the Ukrainian Sea Corridor.

As reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, a merchant vessel RAMCO (flag of Nauru) was attacked while sailing through the Ukrainian Sea Corridor.

The vessel sustained minor damage, but a fire broke out on board, which was extinguished by the crew. The strike also damaged a power facility on the territory of the cargo terminal, causing localized fires that were extinguished by the relevant services. There were no preliminary reports of casualties.

This is not the first vessel to suffer from Russian attacks on Ukraine's port infrastructure in the last few days. On April 26, as a result of a Russian attack in Odesa region, a drone hit a civilian vessel flying the Palauan flag that was being loaded in the port of Chornomorsk.

On April 25, a civilian vessel flying the Panamanian flag was damaged in the port of Reni during a regional attack.

The vessel was leaving the port when it was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles. A fire broke out on board, which the crew quickly extinguished on their own. The vessel remained seaworthy and is heading to its destination port.

Another vessel was damaged in the port itself. Meanwhile, the wreckage of a Russian drone was found in Romania near the border with Odesa region on the morning of April 25, damaging a power pole and an extension to a residential building. Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft detected radar contact with a target 1.5 kilometers from Reni, over Ukrainian territory, and the pilots were authorized to engage the drones.
