The Primorskyi Court of Odesa approved the plea agreement between the prosecutor and a native of Chernihivka village in the Primorskyi Territory of the Russian Federation.

As stated in the court' s verdict, the man, who is a citizen of Ukraine, pleaded guilty to obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period.

The Criminal Code of Ukraine provides for a sentence of imprisonment for a term of five to eight years. In fact, the man was sentenced to five years in prison, but the court commuted his actual sentence to probation for three years.

In February 2024, the convict sent photos and information about the work of employees of the territorial recruitment center in Starobazarnyi Square and Shevchenko Park to various contacts via Telegram several times.

The court took into account the fact that the man pleaded guilty and that he had transferred 80 thousand hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In June, the Security Service of Ukraine reported the elimination of a network of bloggers in Odesa who were acting in the interests of Russian special services and trying to disrupt mobilization and leak the location of the Armed Forces in the city.

To do this, the attackers filmed provocative streams and published fake reports about the Ukrainian military and representatives of the TCC. In addition, the bloggers disseminated the coordinates of checkpoints and routes of mobile groups of local military enlistment offices.

Among the detainees are a couple from Odesa who leaked the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to a pro-Russian Telegram channel with a total audience of over 200,000 users. According to the available data, this Internet resource is administered by representatives of the Federal Security Service, who thus collect information about the locations and movements of the Defense Forces.

In addition to the couple, the SBU detained another local resident who was leaking information to the same Telegram channel.

The SBU also detained four residents of Odesa who tried to disrupt the mobilization through posts in specialized groups and chatbots of popular messengers.

Among them is the administrator of a regional Telegram channel with a 15,000 audience. There, the defendant distributed the current locations of the TCC servicemen and urged his followers to join subversive activities in favor of Russia.
