This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Law enforcement officers served a notice of suspicion of treason under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to a resident of Kherson region.

The investigation established that from 2014 to 2022, the man took part in hostilities as a member of the illegal armed group "DNR". According to the investigation, she, along with the Russian military, intimidated families, used physical violence and illegally detained people during the occupation of the region.

Two Russian servicemen accused of torturing a civilian in occupied Kherson will also stand trial separately. They illegally detained the person in the seized premises of the regional office of the National Police and treated him with particular cruelty.
