The Mykolaiv City Council is preparing to sign an agreement for the construction of a shelter at the Primary Health Care Center No. 2. The budget for the work was set at UAH 8 million 299 thousand, but the contractor offered to perform the work for a smaller amount.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system.

Recently, the Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv City Council held an auction in the form of an open tender with special features.

Three bidders came to the auction - Mykolaiv-based Pivdenhydrobud LLC, an entrepreneur from Pivdenoukrainsk, Kravchenko, and another company from Mykolaiv - KS BUILD GROUP LLC, whose price offer was more favorable for the customer - UAH 616 thousand less than the budget. It became the winner.

The company is currently awaiting the signing of the contract with the client and will receive UAH 7 million 684 thousand for it.

According to the YouControl service, KS BUILD GROUP Limited Liability Company was registered at the end of 2023 in Mykolaiv. Interestingly, the newly created company, which is not yet a year old, is already participating in public procurement. The owners are Yuriy Klymenko and Olga Sobolevska.

According to media reports, entrepreneur Yuriy Klymenkois the son of Leonid Klymenko, rector of the Mykolaiv branch of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Before the full-scale invasion, his companies had managed to receive tens of millions of budget contracts. One of the customers of his services was even the Mohyla Academy headed by his father.

According to the project, the winner of the bid has to dismantle the flooring, stairs, door frames, window frames, disassemble the stonework of walls and partitions, and remove the plaster. They will also have to lay water supply and sewerage systems, install water heaters, conduct electricity, install ventilation, etc.

All work is to be completed by May 1, 2025.

The Mykolaiv Rehabilitation Center for Children with Special Needs also decided to equip a shelter. Almost one and a half million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for this purpose. The selected contractor should complete the repair work by December 31, 2024.

Major repairs of the radiation shel ter are also planned for the dormitory building of the Novodesskyi Vocational College. Almost thirty million hryvnias will be spent from the state budget. The estimated duration of the repair is seven months. The 1520-square-meter shelter is designed for 450 people.
