A 7-year-old girl was wounded in a village in Mykolaiv region due to enemy aggression

Several attacks with drones and a rocket were recorded in Mykolaiv region at night, damaging houses, facilities and power grids. A girl was wounded in Lupareve, but there were no casualties in other cases.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

On the night of May 28, Mykolaiv region came under enemy fire again. The air defense was working, but the damage could not be avoided.

Around midnight, an FPV camikaze drone hit the Halytsynivka community. In the village of Lupareve, a 7-year-old girl was injured by the debris - medics treated her on the spot. The explosion damaged two private houses and three cars.

At 2 am a rocket hit Ochakiv. One of the recreational facilities was damaged, but there were no casualties.

Between 01:06 and 01:18, Snihurivska community was attacked by Shahed drones. In Vasylivka village, a non-residential building, two houses and power lines were destroyed. 200 houses were left without electricity, but now the power supply has been almost restored. No people were injured.

The night of May 26 was also tense in the Mykolaiv region as air defense forces repelled enemy attacks. The shelling killed two civilians and wounded six others.

The night before, on May 25, Russian troops launched a massive attack with Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones in Mykolaiv. An infrastructure facility, offices, several private houses, and power lines in different parts of the city were damaged. Two floors of one of the apartment buildings were partially destroyed, and shrapnel damaged a neighboring high-rise building. The shelling killed a man and injured five others.

Also on May 25, the last stage of a large-scale exchange of prisoners in the 1000-for-1000 format was completed - 303 Ukrainians returned home. According to the Coordination Headquarters, this exchange was the sixth in 2025 and the 65th since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Since March 2022, 5757 citizens have been released, and another 536 have returned regardless of the exchanges.
