More than 32 million has been planned for the investment program in Kherson region. The main purpose of the changes is to provide funding for the program's activities and create a favorable environment for attracting investors.

The relevant order was signed by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration has amended the Program for the Development of Investment Activity and International Territorial Cooperation of the Region for 2026-2028.

According to the new version of the program, the total amount of funding for the program is 32.2 million, of which 9.1 million is allocated from the regional budget, and 23.2 million is from other sources not prohibited by law. The program does not yet provide for state funding.

The program includes several key areas aimed at developing investment activity in Kherson region. First of all, it is to create a favorable investment environment and a positive image of the region. For this purpose, two public investment events are planned to be held annually, including forums, conferences, seminars and round tables.

It also provides for the creation and updating of investment products, including electronic databases, catalogs, presentations and interactive maps for potential investors, as well as marketing promotion of activities through advertising campaigns, booklets and presentations in Ukrainian and foreign languages. Considerable attention is paid to updating and modernizing the Kherson region's investment portal.

It is also planned to improve the competence of managers and specialists through the organization of educational seminars and trainings on investment development, international technical assistance, grant applications and public-private partnerships. Up to 10 such events are planned annually.

A separate area is to strengthen international and interregional cooperation. To this end, meetings, negotiations and other events will be held with foreign partners and partner regions. In 2026-2028, up to 15 such events are planned annually.

The program also provides for the creation of elements of the investment environment, including industrial and technological zones, industrial parks and clusters to attract investment and develop innovations. In 2026-2028, it is planned to create and modernize up to five such facilities.

Thus, according to the document, Kherson region has formally laid the groundwork for systematic investment attraction, infrastructure modernization, and professional development of managers.

Kherson Regional State Administration has also allocated more than UAH 40 million in subventions to support the work of the RSA's staff and structural units. The money will be used to pay salaries, purchase equipment, materials and services to implement the region's social and economic development programs for 2024-2026.
