The heating season of 2025-2026 is officially coming to an end in Kherson.

According to Yaroslav Shanko, the head of Kherson MVA, he has already signed a corresponding order.

Despite constant shelling and a difficult security situation, the heating season has been relatively stable. The city emphasizes that this is the result of the work of utilities, in particular the teams of Khersonteploenergo and Kherson CHP, which provided heat even in critical conditions.

According to the order, the city's centralized heating will be turned off on March 23. At the same time, the season for houses with individual heating will last until the end of April.

The community is already starting to prepare for the next heating season, given the challenges of the war and the energy situation.

As Intent previously wrote, the heating season of 2025-2026 in the Kherson community began on October 1. Residents who use individual heating received heat.

It is worth noting that Kherson MVA has already approved heat tariffs for Khersonteplogeneration for this period, while prices for the population, according to the administration, will not change. It is also known that 39 out of 46 boiler houses of the community are in the process of preparing for operation.

The tariff for heat energy, including the cost of maintaining central heating stations, is UAH 2355.42 per Gcal excluding VAT. The cost of heat production is 2111.77 UAH/Gcal, transportation is 228.14 UAH/Gcal, and supply is 15.51 UAH/Gcal. If we do not take into account the cost of maintaining heating stations, the tariff is reduced to 2317.06 UAH/Gcal.

Separate tariffs have been set for houses with autonomous heating: from 1813.80 UAH/Gcal to 2009.14 UAH/Gcal, depending on the address. It should be added that the cost of heating for the population supplied by Khersonteploenergo, Kherson Heat and Power Plant, Khersonteploenergo and Group Company LLC in the heating season 2024-2025 remained the same as last season.
