The heating season of 2025-2026 has started in the Kherson community. Since October 1, residents who use individual heating have received heat.

This was announced by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson MVA.

District heating for the rest of the housing stock and social facilities will be launched as usual after the average daily temperature reaches +8°C or below for three consecutive days.

Yaroslav Shanko, head of the MVA, assured that despite the enemy's cunning and attempts to leave Kherson residents without heat, emergency response algorithms have been developed.

However, the situation in the Korabel neighborhood remains the most difficult. Due to constant shelling and danger, specialists are unable to complete the necessary work, which puts the heating season there at risk of disruption.

It is worth noting that Kherson MVA has already approved heat tariffs for Khersonteplogeneration for this period, while prices for the population, according to the administration, will not change. It is also known that 39 out of 46 boiler houses of the community are in the process of preparing for operation.

The tariff for heat energy, including the cost of maintaining central heating stations, is UAH 2355.42 per Gcal excluding VAT. The cost of heat production is 2111.77 UAH/Gcal, transportation is 228.14 UAH/Gcal, and supply is 15.51 UAH/Gcal. If we do not take into account the cost of maintaining heating stations, the tariff is reduced to 2317.06 UAH/Gcal.

Separate tariffs have been set for houses with autonomous heating: from 1813.80 UAH/Gcal to 2009.14 UAH/Gcal, depending on the address. It should be added that the cost of heating for the population supplied by Khersonteploenergo, Kherson Heat and Power Plant, Khersonteploenergo and Group Company LLC in the heating season 2024-2025 remained the same as last season.
