FPV drones in Ukraine: attacks and defense
FPV drones are unmanned aerial vehicles controlled by an operator through video transmission from the drone's camera (First Person View technology). In the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine, such drones are actively used for attacks on civilians and military facilities, especially in southern regions. Protection against FPV drones requires special equipment — anti-drone nets, electronic warfare systems, and shelters. The problem of massive use of these drones by occupiers forces Ukrainian authorities and communities to invest in anti-drone technologies.
