The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on the international community to ensure justice following the attack by a Russian drone on a market vendor in Kherson.
According to Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, this barbaric Russian war crime in Kherson demands international condemnation and justice, yet thousands of similar crimes remain hidden from public view.
“This is a deliberate and systematic Russian strategy. They know exactly what they are doing. The sadist operating this drone is fully aware that he is targeting a civilian. This horrific video proves that the Russian barbarians will try to repeat their genocidal atrocities in Bucha wherever they can reach,” Sibiga emphasized.
The day before, police released a chilling video showing Russian soldiers using a drone to pursue a civilian man at a market in Kherson.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that the victim showed no signs of being a combatant—he was simply selling goods at the market—yet he became a target for Russian troops.
According to police, the victim is a 52-year-old resident of the Mykolaiv region. He survived but sustained blast trauma, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds. The man is currently under medical supervision and receiving the necessary care.
