On the afternoon of April 19, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed attack drones. As a result of the shelling, two districts of the city were partially de-energized.

This was reported by Vitaliy Kim, the head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

According to him, power engineers promptly started restoration work, and most consumers have already been supplied with electricity. At the same time, four private houses were damaged in the city. No one was injured.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych noted that all services are working to restore power supply.

- "Relevant services are working. We are doing everything possible to restore power as soon as possible. The city is functioning as usual, the situation is under control," he said.

As a reminder, on the morning of April 16, Russian troops attacked the energy infrastructure of Mykolaiv region, which led to large-scale power outages.

Also, last night an attack by Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones was recorded in Mykolaiv region.

A fire broke out at a transport infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv district as a result of falling debris, damaging equipment. There were no casualties.

In addition, the day before, the enemy fired at the Ochakivska community, probably with multiple rocket launchers. Over the last day, air defense forces shot down or suppressed eight enemy drones.

The situation in the south of Ukraine remains tense, with shelling of civilian infrastructure continuing.

Earlier, Intent wrote that in the evening of March 28, in the village of Peresadivka in Mykolaiv region, a Russian attack drone attacked a recreation area near the local cultural center. At the time of the attack, teenagers and local residents were there.

According to preliminary data, ten people were injured in the attack, most of them children. It was later reported that a 13-year-old girl died in hospital.
