Drone attacks on Ukraine
Shahed is an Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle (kamikaze drone) that Russia uses massively to attack Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. These drones carry out explosive strikes against civilian objects, residential areas, energy and transport infrastructure, especially in southern Ukraine — in Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson region. Shaheds are part of Russia's strategy of drone terror against the Ukrainian population and critical infrastructure.
