New rules for passing the military qualification examination

The reform of military medical commissions continues in Ukraine. Starting from April 1, paper conclusions of the Military Medical Commission will become a thing of the past and will be issued only online, writes Korrespondent.

How it will work:

Until June 5, 2025, the preliminary medical examination is mandatory (by law) only for those persons liable for military service who were previously (until May 2024) recognized as limitedly fit for service aged 25 to 60, except for those with the status of a person with a disability.

Employee reserves

Starting April 1, Ukrainians liable for military service who have not been re-booked by their employers will lose the right to deferral from mobilization, Ekonomichna Pravda reports.

By March 31, companies must confirm their criticality status and re-book their employees in accordance with the updated criteria. The employer can submit the lists for booking online on the Diia portal.

Registration for the National Multisubject Test (NMT)

Registration takes place remotely. It will last until April 3. Until April 8, registrants will be able to make changes in their personal accounts, Fakty reports.

New rules for paying sick leave

On April 4, 2025, new rules for paying sick leave will come into force. This refers to the law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Compulsory State Social Insurance", which the Verkhovna Rada adopted in December 2024. These changes concern the payment of sick leave both at the main place of work and at a part-time job.

Limits on card-to-card transfers

On April 1, the temporary limit of UAH 150 thousand on card transfers by individuals will expire.

Starting from October 1, 2024, the National Bank of Ukraine has temporarily set a limit of UAH 150 thousand per month for card-to-card (P2P, C2C) transfers for individuals for six months. The limit applies only to outgoing transfers across all accounts of a client opened in one bank to accounts of other individuals.

The limit does not apply to the accounts of volunteers who meet the criteria set out in the resolution and individuals whose monthly income from confirmed sources exceeds the amount of the limit.

It also applies to transfers of funds between the client's own accounts opened with the same bank and to transfers of legal entities.

At the same time, in early December 2024, banks signed an open-ended memorandum under which limits on card transfers for risky customers are reduced to UAH 50 thousand per month.
