Until April 8, those who registered for the National Multisubject Test (NMT) had the opportunity to make changes in their personal accounts (choose another subject of the additional block or change the location in which they wish to take the NMT). Testing will take place during the main and additional sessions. The main ones will take place from May 14 to June 25; additional ones - from July 14 to 25, according to the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UCEQA). Intent has studied the opinion of experts and offers tips for preparing for NMT.

Structured preparation plan

You should start by drawing up a clear preparation schedule. You need to divide all subjects(Ukrainian language, math, history of Ukraine, or others, depending on the chosen block) into thematic blocks. Determine how much time you have before the test and distribute the material evenly, leaving the last month for revision. The plan will help you avoid overload and panic before the exam.

Familiarize yourself with the NMT program and format

Successful preparation begins with understanding what exactly will be on the test. It is worth familiarizing yourself with the official program of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality. Watch the demonstration versions of the tests of previous years. Carefully study the format of the tasks: how many questions, what type of questions (multiple choice, open-ended, matching, etc.), how long it takes to complete.

Practice is the key to success

The more training you do, the more confident you will feel during the test. You should use online testers, mobile applications, and printed collections. It is important to take full-fledged timed NMT simulations to get used to the limited time.

Active learning

You should not just read, but take notes, ask questions about what you have read, and give answers to yourself. Making comparative tables will make memorization much easier. For example, when preparing for the history of Ukraine, you can create chronological timelines of events, and for language, you can create diagrams of grammatical rules.

Use the help of professionals

If self-study doesn't work, don't be afraid to contact a tutor or join an online course. The teacher will tell you where your weaknesses are and help you reduce the time you need to learn complex topics.

Taking care of yourself

It's important to keep in mind the balance of study and rest. You need to take regular breaks, walk in the fresh air, and sleep well. A tired brain assimilates information worse. If you feel anxious, you should try breathing exercises or light meditation. You can even visit a psychologist - it's normal.

NMT trial - a rehearsal for success

It is necessary to sign up for a trial test to test yourself in conditions close to real ones. This way, the fear of the official test is reduced, and you will understand what else you need to work on.

Support from your environment

It is important to communicate with friends who are also preparing. It's easier to study together - you can organize mini-tests and discuss difficult topics. It is important that the family has an atmosphere of trust. It is important to be able to turn to your family for emotional support when preparing for the test.

Success in the NMT is not only about knowledge, but also about strategy. Regularity, analysis, and support are the components of an excellent result.
