Yuzhne Mayor Volodymyr Novatskyi's Salary Jumps ₴301,605 in 2024

Mayor Volodymyr Novatskyi 's salary for 2024 exceeded his earnings in this position in 2023 by UAH 301,605.

According to the mayor's declaration, last year his salary reached UAH 1 million 84.5 thousand, compared to UAH 782.9 thousand in 2023, the Center for Public Investigations reported.

Last year, the mayor also received UAH 250,150 in pensions and UAH 17,709 in interest on bank deposits. The family's income also included UAH 62,719 from his wife's bank deposits and her pension of UAH 42,322.

The mayor also has more foreign currency in cash: while in 2023 the mayor kept 35 thousand US dollars in cash, in 2024 these savings increased to 40 thousand dollars. He has the same amount of hryvnia and euros in cash as in 2023 - 350 thousand and 10 thousand, respectively.

Last year, the mayor's family kept 620,176 hryvnias of the mayor's wife, as well as 602,000 hryvnias and 4,000 dollars of Volodymyr Novatskyi's own money in banks.

There is also a 162-square-meter apartment in Odesa that belongs to Maksym Novatskyi, the son of the mayor. The family has no cars.

Volodymyr Novatskyi joined the Odesa Regional State Administration in March 1995 and held various positions until April 2002. From April 2002 to February 2005, he was the chairman of the Odesa Regional Council, then worked as a deputy. In April 2006, he was elected to the position of Yuzhne mayor and has been working until now. On December 7 this year, Volodymyr Novatskyi announced that he would not leave office until the next elections.
