On April 24, at 11:00, a regular meeting of the executive committee of the city council will be held in Odesa.

This is stated on the website of the municipality.

The agenda includes more than 30 issues related to social support, housing, landscaping, sports, education and outdoor advertising.

Among the main topics is the provision of compensation to city residents whose homes were damaged or destroyed as a result of shelling. This will include payments to residents of Khadzhibey, Kyiv, Peresyp and Primorsky districts. It is also planned to consider issues related to the transfer of apartments from state to communal ownership.

Members of the executive committee will decide on the placement of outdoor advertising in the city: some permits are proposed to be canceled, others are to be granted. In particular, they plan to approve new schemes for the placement of advertising structures on Balkivska Street and Yaroslav Mudryi Avenue (formerly Glushko Avenue).

In addition, the meeting is to hear reports on the implementation of city programs, in particular on the development of physical culture and sports, provide financial assistance to condominiums under the Energodom program, and approve a competition for the positions of heads of preschool education institutions. The council will also consider determining the value of the indirect cost of renting (leasing) housing in Odesa per person for January-March 2025.

The previous executive committee of the Odesa City Council met on February 27. During the meeting, a report on the implementation of the budget of the Odesa city territorial community for 2024 was presented. The deputies also heard a report on the implementation of the city's program to support territorial defense and volunteer formations.

Prior to that, the Department of Finance of the Odesa City Council published a report for 2024. In particular, the budget revenues of the Odesa city territorial community amounted to UAH 15.1 billion, which is 2% more than the planned level.
