According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, he was notified in absentia of being suspected under several articles (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 111-2). He could face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to the investigation, in May 2022, the suspect voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the Russian occupiers and help them implement their policies in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.
