This fall, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck at least six strategic facilities in Crimea, including oil depots and terminals. The strikes caused fires, destroyed tanks and complicated enemy logistics.

This was reported by Radio Liberty.

During the fall of 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck more than 50 facilities of Russia's fuel and military-industrial infrastructure. According to experts, the Ukrainian defense forces have never carried out such a number of successful attacks in a short period of time.

One of the affected facilities was the Saransk Mechanical Plant, an enterprise of the state corporation Rostec that produces weapons and ammunition. On the night of October 22, it was attacked by drones. According to the GUR, the plant produces mines, stun grenades, anti-personnel shells, fuses and detonators.

On the night of November 1, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked an oil terminal in Tuapse, a key hub for military logistics and oil exports. Five hits set a tanker on fire and disabled at least four oil loading systems. Satellite imagery captured the oil spill and the fire.

On the night of October 29, the Ukrainian military attacked two oil depots near Simferopol: in Gvardeyskoye (Kedr, ATAN network) and Komsomolskaya (TES). Satellite images show large-scale fires: at least six tanks were destroyed in Gvardeyskoye, and the fires lasted up to four days. Experts estimate that each tanker could have cost up to a million dollars.

The offshore oil terminal in Feodosia is the largest in Crimea in terms of transshipment of oil products, which were used to meet the needs of the Russian occupation army. The Ukrainian armed forces have been attacking it since 2024, despite the modern air defense system installed in 2022. This fall, the terminal was attacked three times: the most successful on October 6, when 13 fuel tanks, two underground storage facilities, and a pumping shop building near the railway were damaged, making it impossible for the terminal to operate. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also hit the Kacha and Kirovske airfields in Crimea.

In the south of Russia, in the port of Novorossiysk, Ukrainian troops hit the Sheskharis oil loading complex of Transneft. The terminal, port infrastructure, and missile storage facilities were hit with Neptune missiles and drones.

Ukraine's defense forces also attacked oil and gas facilities along the Volga River, in Saratov and Volgograd regions: the Zenzevatka intermediate oil pumping station and Lukoil's Korobkovsky gas processing plant were severely damaged. As a result, due to restrictions on imports of equipment, the operation of these facilities may be interrupted, which affects Russia's military and economic capabilities.

According to Bloomberg estimates, in November alone, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck Russia's strategic facilities 14 times, and over the year, about 160 attacks on oil production and refining enterprises.

Also, a special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine "Primari" carried out a series of precision attacks on Russian military infrastructure in the occupied Crimea. Ukrainian attack drones hit eight key targets, weakening Russian aviation, intelligence, and logistics capabilities. The confirmed targets include a Su-24 bomber, an Orion reconnaissance UAV, an antenna in a radio-transparent dome, and three radar stations.
