Ukraine will try the Russian Minister of Fuel and Energy of the annexed Crimea.

The Security Service of Ukrainereports .

Alexander Kharlamov headed the agency from August to October last year. The investigation found that the offender continues to "work" for the criminal authorities of Russia and currently holds the position of "head" of the occupation administration of the Soviet district, and voluntarily implements the state policy of the aggressor country and helps Russians to conduct subversive activities against Ukraine.

The offender's stay in the temporarily occupied territory still limits the possibility of comprehensive measures to bring him to justice for crimes against our state.

The investigation was conducted by the SBU in the AR of Crimea under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office in the AR of Crimea and Sevastopol.

According to the collected evidence, he is charged under Part 5 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (cooperation).

The former Chairman of the Supreme Council of Crimea was also notified of suspicion for calling for war against Ukraine and propaganda of Russian aggression. He faces up to 12 years in prison on several charges, including collaboration and justification of the occupation.

And earlier, we wrote about the responsibility of a serviceman who voluntarily went over to the side of the enemy while serving on the peninsula in 2014.

A number of Ukrainian human rights organizations continue to record human rights violations by the aggressor country, in particular against Ukrainian citizens. Thus, on the initiative of Russia, Interpol issued a warrant for the detention of a Ukrainian Crimean Tatar in France. Currently, the situation is being manipulated by the Interlocutors.
