UAH 23 million to be raised for energy-efficient reconstruction of Mykolaiv gymnasium

Mykolaiv plans to restore and insulate a gymnasium. More than 23 million hryvnias are to be raised for this purpose. Part of the funds were provided from the budget during 2017-2019.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the state digital ecosystem Dream.

It is planned to reconstruct the building of Mykolaiv Gymnasium #56 with thermal sanitation. The project was initiated by the Mykolaiv City Council and executed by the Department of Energy, Energy Saving and Implementation of Innovative Technologies.

The goal of the project is to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of the gymnasium's premises, to provide optimal conditions for studying and recreation for students and staff.

The design and estimate documentation was completed in 2017-2019 and needs to be adjusted.

It is planned to raise UAH 23 million 620 thousand 845 for the energy reconstruction of the gymnasium. More than UAH 20 million will be spent on construction and UAH 2.2 million on other capital expenditures. In 2018, UAH 731,403 was allocated for the design. The design and estimate documentation developed in 2017-2019 has yet to be updated. In total, UAH 882,403 was spent from the city budget in 2017-2019.

According to the project description, it is planned to insulate the building's basement, slopes and walls, reconstruct the roof, replace the thermal insulation layer of the attic floor, exterior windows and doors, repair entrances, and install bins and containers for solid waste. It is noted that these are just a few examples of technical solutions that can be used to reconstruct the building of Mykolaiv Gymnasium #56 to improve energy efficiency and create a comfortable environment for students and staff.

We also decided to modernize the classrooms of Mykolaiv Construction College. Denmark provided funds for the reconstruction and arrangement of the educational institution. The goal is to create modern learning environments, improve the energy efficiency of the building, and provide a safe and comfortable environment for students and teachers. The project budget is UAH 12 million.

And the South Ukrainian Lyceum decided to build a shelter. More than UAH 72 million was allocated from the city budget. General construction works, water supply and sewerage, heating and ventilation, electrical solutions, and fire alarm installation are planned.
