From January to July, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych received over UAH 300,000 in travel allowances, almost half of his total salary for the seven months. In addition to business trips, he receives monthly bonuses, and most of his deputies received an additional UAH 70,000 for health improvement.

These data are contained in the response of the Mykolaiv City Council to Nikcenter's request for information on payments to the mayor's office for the first seven months of 2025.

According to the document, Deputy Mayor for Land Yuriy Andrienko received the most healthcare benefits in 2025 - UAH 77,800. First Deputy Mayor Vitaliy Lukov received UAH 77.4 thousand, and Deputy Mayor for Humanitarian Affairs Anatoliy Petrov received UAH 76.8 thousand. The least amount of money - 70.3 thousand hryvnias - was allocated to Serhiy Korenev for health improvement.

As in the previous year, the mayor himself did not receive any financial assistance for health improvement. In total, more than UAH 300 thousand has already been spent on the deputy mayors' health improvement in 2025.

City council leaders also received payments for annual vacations. Vacation allowances ranged from UAH 11 to 67 thousand with salaries ranging from UAH 4 to 22 thousand. Anatoliy Petrov received the most vacation pay - 67 thousand hryvnias, and Vitaliy Lukov - 60 thousand. Sergiy Korenev received vacation pay twice - in February (UAH 10.8 thousand) and June (UAH 34.7 thousand). Yuriy Andriyenko (35.7 thousand) and Mayor Senkevych (10.7 thousand) received the smallest amounts of vacation pay. In total, the vacation time of the leaders cost the budget UAH 218 thousand in the first six months of the year.

Oleksandr Senkevych regularly traveled on business trips, and his trips were the most expensive among all city council leaders, costing over 303 thousand hryvnias in seven months. The amount of monthly business trip payments ranged from UAH 12 thousand in January to UAH 73 thousand in June. Deputy Mayor Serhiy Korenev was also frequently on business trips, with 141 thousand hryvnias spent from the budget.

A significant part of the salary of Senkevych and his deputies is made up of monthly bonuses for rank, length of service, high achievements, secrecy, and even a degree. The size of the allowances varies from 130 hryvnias for rank to 31 thousand hryvnias for achievements.

For example, the city mayor received over UAH 137 thousand in bonuses from January to July with a salary of UAH 90 thousand. The largest amount of bonuses - 278 thousand hryvnias - was received by the deputy for land issues Yuriy Andrienko, which averages almost 40 thousand hryvnias per month, exceeding his official salary.

Deputy for Humanitarian Affairs Anatoliy Petrov received more than UAH 218 thousand in bonuses, most of which were for achievements. First Vice Mayor Vitaliy Lukov received UAH 167 thousand in bonuses, and Deputy Mayor for Housing and Communal Services Serhiy Korenev received UAH 135 thousand. In just seven months of 2025, the city council leadership received almost UAH 935 thousand in bonuses.

The bonuses of the mayor and deputies ranged from 4 to 22 thousand hryvnias per month. For example, Anatoliy Petrov received 118 thousand hryvnias in bonuses for seven months, Vitaliy Lukov - 102 thousand, Yuriy Andriyenko - 102 thousand, and Mayor Senkevych - 90 thousand hryvnias in bonuses. Sergiy Korenev received 77 thousand bonuses.

Recently, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption reported that it had found inaccurate data in the declaration of Dmytro Falk, the secretary of Mykolaiv City Council, for 2023, amounting to about UAH 2 million. In particular, in 2022-2023, his wife purchased real estate and a car for almost UAH 3 million, which is five times her official income.
