Three occupants' attack drones destroyed in Kherson region

During a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed three Shahed-131/136s over the territory of Kherson region.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official's post says that yesterday, October 2, Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Burgunka, Sablukivka, Sadove, Havrylivka, and Dudchany came under enemy fire and air strikes by the Russian occupation army in Kherson region, Dudchany, Novoberislav, Pyatikhatky, Tomyna Balka, Shyroka Balka, Odradokamyanka, Chervonyi Mayak, Kostyrka, Mykhailivka, Mykilske, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Zmiivka, Urozhayne, Kozatske, Prydniprovske and the city of Kherson.

Prokudin noted that during the shelling of the region, the Russian occupiers hit residential areas of the region's settlements, including 13 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, outbuildings, a bus and private cars.

Two civilians were killed and eight others were injured as a result of Russian aggression. Thus, according to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on October 2, the invaders shelled Antonivka throughout the day, using unmanned aerial vehicles and artillery. The attacks killed two civilians - a 59-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man. Five other local residents sustained injuries of varying severity. In Kherson, the enemy hit a civilian car with a drone. Two men sustained explosive injuries and contusions.

Earlier, it was reported that six people were killed and 11 others were injured as a result of Russian aggression. Thus, on October 1, 2024, at about 9:00, Russian troops allegedly attacked the center of Kherson with cannon artillery. The shelling took place near a local market and a public transportation stop. The shelling killed six citizens. Doctors managed to stabilize the seventh person, who was presumed dead, but his condition remains extremely serious.

Earlier it was reported that on September 30, the enemy launched two rocket attacks on Beryslav district.
