Fares for public transportation in Odesa have risen since December 1 - by almost half in trams and trolleybuses and by a quarter in minibuses.

Valeriy Bolgan , editor-in-chief of Intent, found out what caused this increase in fares in a live interview with Dmitry Zheman, former head of Odesskielectrotrans and former mayor, on Intent.Insight.

Every week, Intent looks at one issue that worries Ukrainians and raises topical questions and tries to solve specific problems.

For example, on Tuesday, November 26, Intent's live TV show "Intent.Insight" was dedicated to the issue of employment of veterans, which is already a pressing issue for Ukraine and will become much more acute after the end of active hostilities.

On November 19, the program was devoted to the situation with energy supply in Odesa region after the Russian attack. Vitaliy Savich, Energy Manager, was the guest of the studio and explained why Odesa region is so vulnerable, what communication should have been on the part of DTEK and the city authorities, and how everyone's energy consumption affects the situation.

It was decided to dedicate the November 5 issue of Intent.Insight to the confrontation between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump for the presidency of the United States of America, as November 5 is the main day of the US presidential election.

On October 29, a representative of the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, a member of the Odesa District Council, Yaroslava Vitko-Prysyazhnyuk , discussed the situation with violations of language legislation in Odesa.

On October 1, I talked to Yulia Chukhalo , a deputy of the Odesa Regional Council from the European Solidarity party, about why the case of the illegality of 2 deputy heads of the regional council was important to her. After all, the deputy went to the Supreme Court of Ukraine to have the regulations of the Odesa Regional Council amended.

Before that, on September 24, we talked to the deputy mayor of Odesa, Hanna Pozdnyakova , about whether the city was ready for the heating season. Tuesday, September 17, was the day before the city council session, so it was decided to dedicate this episode to it. The guest of the studio was Oleksandr Slavskyi, a member of the city council. Tuesday, September 10, was devoted to a discussion of the work of military chaplains with chaplain Olena Zhevets.

It was preceded by a conversation about the problems of education , and the guest of the studio was Olena Buynevych , director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council . The last ether of the summer, on August 27, was devoted to communication between cultural figures, historians, Ukrainian society and the audience. It was decided to dedicate the ether on August 13 to Belarus. Valeriy Bolgan met with Alina Rudina, a Belarusian media personality who was forced to move to Ukraine, to discuss this issue.
