On May 30-31, Russian troops continued massive attacks on the Kherson region. At least three civilians were killed and ten others were injured of varying severity as a result of enemy strikes.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The occupants were shelling residential areas and civilian infrastructure. The shells hit private houses, a gas pipeline, garages and cars of local residents. Among the destroyed objects are critical and social infrastructure facilities.

Dozens of settlements came under fire: Antonivka, Beryslav, Veletynske, Vesele, Havrylivka, Dniprovske, Dudchany, Zmiivka, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Komyshany, Kostyrka, Mykhailivka, Mykilske, Mykolayivka, Monastyrske, Naddnipryanske, Novoraysk, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Poniativka, Pryozerne, Prydniprovske, Pravdyne, Sadove, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, Chereshenky, Shyroka Balka, and Kherson.

According to the Kherson MIA, on the night of May 31, a 66-year-old man was killed in another attack in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson as a result of enemy shelling.

At the same time, Ukraine's air defense forces are working non-stop: over the past night alone, three enemy Shahed-131/136 attack drones were destroyed over the Kherson region.

According to Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops are actively testing new types of weapons in the Kherson sector, including drones, electronic warfare systems, and modern ammunition. According to him, the Russians feel relatively safe on the left bank of the Dnipro River, as a large water barrier complicates the work of Ukrainian troops, so the occupiers use this area as a training ground for shelling and testing equipment.

Russian troops are also amassing reserves on the left bank of the Kherson region and other occupied territories, preparing for new assaults in the summer of 2025.
