At night, the Southern Defense Forces destroyed three Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones in Kherson region.
This is stated in the report of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
On April 4-5, Russian troops continued to attack the Kherson region. More than 30 settlements, including Kherson itself, came under enemy fire and air strikes. Among the settlements shelled were Antonivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Vesele, Kachkarivka, Zmiivka, Mykilske, Kizomys, Stanislav and many others.
The Russian shelling was aimed not only at the positions of the Ukrainian military, but also at residential areas and critical and social infrastructure. At least 5 high-rise buildings, 9 private houses, a shop and several cars were damaged. Five civilians were injured as a result of the attacks.
In addition, at night, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 3 enemy Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones over the territory of the region.
According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on April 4, Russians attacked Kherson CHP with an FPV drone.
He emphasized that such attacks could not be accidental, as the Russians knew that they were attacking an energy facility.
On April 3, Russian troops attacked 25 settlements in Kherson region, shelling residential areas and critical infrastructure, damaging a high-rise building, eight private homes, and a store. Four people were wounded in the shelling.
Before that, the enemy shelled residential areas and utility facilities, destroying an apartment building, 12 private houses, an agricultural enterprise, outbuildings, a garage and a civilian car, injuring 11 civilians.
In Naddnipryanske, Roman Matviychuk, the head of one of the neighborhood committees of Kherson's Korabelny district, was killed by a Russian drone attack. The Russian military attacked a car with a drone, in which 71-year-old Roman Matviychuk was with the driver.
