Seven wounded and destroyed houses in Mykolaiv due to Russian shelling

Seven residents of Mykolaiv were injured in a rocket attack by the enemy. Private and apartment buildings were damaged.

This was reported on Sunday, August 3, by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim.

Four of the seven people were treated on the spot. Men aged 57 and 74 remain in the hospital, their condition is moderate. Another man, aged 32, was treated on an outpatient basis.

Three private houses were destroyed in the town. 23 private houses were damaged. 12 apartment buildings, six cars, a post office and a building materials store were damaged.

Representatives of all emergency services were working at the scene.

In Mykolaiv, the first entrance of a building that was hit by a Russian drone on May 25 will likely have to be dismantled. According to preliminary estimates, the level of damage is so severe that it is impossible to restore, and residents will be able to apply for housing certificates to purchase new housing.

Russian troops attacked dozens of settlements in Kherson region with drones, artillery and aircraft. One person was killed, four others were injured, and housing, infrastructure, and cars were destroyed.

Thirty-six settlements in the Kherson region were damaged by enemy shelling. One person was killed and seven wounded, including a police officer. The National Police also recorded damage to an apartment building, 10 private houses, an ambulance station, and four cars. A 41-year-old policeman was wounded. He sustained a mine-blast injury and a shrapnel wound to his arm. He was hospitalized.
