The Russian occupation authorities are planning to hold another pseudo-election in Kherson region and other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

This is reported by Rayon.Henichesk.

According to information from occupation sources, the Kremlin has begun preparations for illegal "elections" scheduled for a single day of voting in Russia - September 14, 2025 and September 20, 2026.

Collaborators were ordered to create nine single-mandate districts in the occupied regions of Ukraine, in particular in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The purpose of these actions is to increase the number of so-called "deputies" to the State Duma of the Russian Federation who will represent the interests of the occupiers.

In particular, in Genichesk, the occupation administration is already forming election commissions, organizing voting rooms and compiling lists of "voters." In addition, local residents are being coerced and intimidated to participate in these activities.

The occupiers are actively spreading propaganda through the controlled media, trying to create the illusion of care and legitimacy. People are being forced to fill out questionnaires that will be used to form "electoral lists". Attempts to impose fake Russian documents on residents are also ongoing.

In turn, the Ukrainian authorities emphasize the illegality of these actions, calling on the international community not to recognize the results of the pseudo-elections. All those involved in organizing and participating in these events will be brought to justice.

The publication emphasizes that the fake "elections" in the occupied territories are another propaganda step by the Kremlin aimed at legitimizing the annexation. Ukraine continues to document the crimes of the occupiers and to fight for the restoration of its territories.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officers have served a notice of suspicion to a resident of Kakhovka who was preparing "elections" in the occupied Kherson region.

In addition, three residents of the region will be brought to court for participating in the "elections" in the occupied Kherson region.

Law enforcement also exposed another collaborator in Kherson region who organized an illegal referendum. She currently faces up to fifteen years in prison.
