At night, the Odesa region was again attacked by drones: a critical infrastructure facility was damaged and a fire broke out, which rescuers quickly extinguished. There were no casualties, and the aftermath of the attack is being addressed.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.
On the night of today, Russian troops carried out another attack on the Odesa region using attack drones.
Civilian and critical infrastructure facilities were targeted. One of the critical infrastructure facilities, including some of its equipment, was damaged as a result of the attack.
According to the head of the Odesa Military District Military Administration, details about the nature of the damage are currently being clarified. A fire broke out at the site of the hit. The State Emergency Service units were promptly deployed to eliminate the fire, which quickly brought the situation under control and prevented further spread.
According to preliminary information, no one was injured or killed. Currently, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the attack, with experts assessing the extent of the damage and working to restore the damaged equipment.
As a result of a night attack by Russian Federation on March 17 in the south of Odesa region, energy, industrial and port infrastructure facilities were damaged. The territories of enterprises and some equipment were damaged.
On March 16, a kindergarten in Chornomorsk was damaged as a result of an enemy attack. 25 windows were smashed, gazebos and the territory of the kindergarten were destroyed. Trees were damaged and windows in the surrounding apartment buildings were smashed.
On the evening of March 12, the Russian army once again attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa region with unmanned aerial vehicles. The drones damaged a food warehouse on the port's territory and pierced the roof. A fire broke out and was extinguished by rescuers.
