Russian shelling damages residential buildings and infrastructure in Kherson

Over the past day, Russians continue to strike at Kherson. Residential areas and settlements were hit: 2 high-rise buildings and 3 private houses, a theater building, agricultural machinery <span>and private cars. On the morning of July 22, 7 people were injured in the artillery shelling of Kherson. The victims with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds were taken to the hospital. </span>

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Military District Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Between 06:00 on July 21 and 06:00 on July 22, 31 settlements, as well as Kherson and Beryslav, came under artillery fire.

At approximately 08:10, Russians fired artillery at Kherson. As a result of the enemy shelling, a 54-year-old man sustained an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to his leg and chest. The victim was taken to hospital. He is receiving the necessary medical care.

A 55-year-old woman was also taken to the hospital, she sustained explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to her torso, arms and legs. The victim is under medical supervision.

In addition, the JFO reported that at about 08:00 , Russian occupants shelled Inzhenerne with artillery.

A 62-year-old man who was on the street came under enemy fire. The victim was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his arm and back. His condition is assessed as moderate.

Earlier, Russian troops attacked the territory of St . Sophia Church in Kherson. As a result of the hit, the wooden cells caught fire and burned to the ground. The footage shows smashed windows, burnt walls and the destroyed roof of the building located on the territory of the church.
