Russian military shells an ambulance in Kherson region, two medics injured

The Russian military dropped explosives from a drone on an ambulance in Antonivka. A 62-year-old nurse sustained a mine-blast injury and shrapnel wounds.

The occupants attacked an ambulance in Antonivka with a drone, injuring two medical workers. The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, they have launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of warfare. Thus, according to the investigation, on December 6, 2024, the Russian military launched another attack on Antonivka using a drone. As a result of the explosives dropped on an ambulance, two medical workers were injured.‍ A 62-year-old nurse sustained a mine-blast injury and shrapnel wounds.

In addition, a 46-year-old man sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his torso, arms and legs.Ⅱ A 48-year-old woman was injured in Zmiivka as a result of Russian shelling. She was hospitalized with an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to her legs. A 16-year-old boy also sought medical assistance.‍ Around 11:30 a.m., he came under enemy fire in the suburbs of Kherson and sustained a contusion and a mine-blast injury.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document the crimes committed by members of the Russian armed forces.

Yesterday, on December 5, the Russian military shelled residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging a multi-story building and 8 private houses. As a result of Russian aggression, 6 people were injured. The occupiers also vandalized several private cars. On the morning of December 6, at about 7:30 a.m., the Russian occupation army attacked Komyshany. A 45-year-old man was injured as a result of the shelling. He sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as contusion.

In total, Antonivka, Stanislav, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Tomyna Balka, Odradokamyanka, Osokorivka and the city of Kherson came under enemy fire and air strikes.
