On March 28-29, the Russian military attacked 36 settlements in Kherson region, injuring ten civilians.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, the enemy attacked residential areas and critical infrastructure with artillery and aircraft. Kherson, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav and dozens of other localities came under fire.

Enemy shells damaged two high-rise buildings and 38 private houses. The occupants also damaged a gas pipe, an ambulance, agricultural machinery and private cars.

In addition, at night, Russians attacked Novoberislav using drones. An 84-year-old man was injured as a result of the explosives. The elderly man sustained explosive and craniocerebral trauma, contusion and shrapnel wounds. The victim was hospitalized, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported.

On March 27, the Russian army shelled Kherson once again, firing 40 shells at the city. A local animal shelter was hit, and the building and enclosures were heavily damaged. Some dogs died on the spot, others were injured or disappeared.

According to the volunteers, the shelling lasted for an hour and a half, causing panic among the animals. Dogs ran chaotically trying to find shelter, but not all of them managed to escape.

"The shelter was destroyed: the cages were broken, the fence was knocked down, and the building was badly damaged. The main problem is that we have nowhere to place the surviving dogs," the volunteers said.

The injured animals were evacuated to veterinary clinics. One of the dogs, which the volunteers took to the doctors, did not survive the night due to severe injuries.

Also on March 27, as a result of Russian shelling in Kherson, ambulance medics were injured and two civilians, including a 55-year-old woman, were killed.

On March 26, residential neighborhoods and social facilities came under fire, damaging two high-rise buildings, 12 private houses, a gas pipeline, and several cars. Three civilians were injured in the shelling.

A day earlier, the Russian army attacked 27 settlements in Kherson region using aircraft and artillery. The attacks killed one person and injured six others.
