A Russian court in the temporarily occupied Crimean Sevastopol sentenced two Ukrainian women, a mother and daughter, to 12 years in prison.

This was reported by Radio Liberty.

The hostile court issued treason charges against 42-year-old Victoria Strelets and her 24-year-old daughter Oleksandra Strelets in one session.

According to the investigation, Oleksandra decided to cooperate with representatives of Ukraine for a reward and involved her mother. In September 2023, she allegedly used an unnamed messenger to send photographs of Russian military facilities taken by her mother to representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The women were detained by the FSB.

During the course of this case, the convicts did not have a defense and did not speak at the court hearing.

Human rights activist and political prisoner Riza Izetov was transferred to an unknown destination from Yakutsk. All court cases have been suspended.

The activists analyzed 96 cases over the past six months, which were considered in the courts of Crimea.

Crimean women Larysa Gaidai, Tatiana Pavlenko (Simonenko) and Elvira Aboyazova, who disappeared in March 2024, were found in the pre-trial detention center-2 in Akmesdzhit. The activists recorded the facts of their disappearance a year ago, but only recently received confirmation of their whereabouts.

The Russian-controlled authorities of the occupied Crimea have decided on the buyer of the Yalta seaport. The auction for 100% of the shares has been completed.

The Russian-controlled Kyiv District Court of Simferopol again extended the arrest of political prisoners of the fourth Dzhankoy group in the case of Crimean Muslims until October 4. The defendants' lawyers appealed the extension in the Russian Supreme Court of Crimea.
