Orlov, the founder and commander of the Russian Espanyol brigade, formed from neo-Nazi football fans for the war against Ukraine, was killed at his dacha in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

This was reported by New Voice.

Stanislav Orlov, known by the call sign "Spaniard," died on December 4 in house No. 51 in the Flotsky gardening community, where he had lived in recent weeks. According to the cameras, on that day at 12:17, four cars drove up to the house, from which masked men with automatic weapons got out. Neighbors reported several shots, and he did not resist. The ambulance arrived only six hours later.

Orlov 's death was confirmed by the Espanyol brigade, but without specifying the circumstances. Earlier, his death was discussed in the media and telegram channels: some claimed that he died during detention, others that he had been in a coma for several days, but doctors were unable to save him.

According to media reports, the reason for the attempted detention was Orlov's suspicion of arms trafficking and involvement in organized crime. Also recently, the former commander of the Espanyol marine detachment Ruslan Kazantsev (Altai) was detained and is currently under arrest.

The Espanyola brigade was created in the spring of 2022 as part of the Vostok battalion of the DNR group. The unit was composed of football ultras, most of whom held neo-Nazi views.

On March 4, 2024, Ukrainian officer Anatoliy Shtefan reported the elimination of Vyacheslav Subbotin, the chief of intelligence of the Espanyol brigade, known by the call sign "Weekend." And on April 28, 2025, representatives of the DeepState project said that during the Belgorod operation, the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to kill the founder of the 88th Espanyol Brigade and 12 occupiers from the unit's leadership.

In October, the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol served a notice of suspicion to the commander of the so-called "separate mobile platoon 'Sevastopol without fascism'". He led his subordinate militants and carried out criminal tasks set by the occupation authorities, including the seizure of military facilities and the search and detention of pro-Ukrainian activists.
