Pro-Russian blogger and propagandist from the annexed Crimea Oleksandr Talipov received the Order of Merit for Kherson Region from the Russian authorities.

According to Krym.Realii, this was reported by the head of the administration of the occupied part of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo. According to him, Talipov is helping units of the 18th Army of the Russian Federation, which is part of the Russian troops' grouping "Dnipro" and is fighting in the Kherson direction.

Oleksandr Talipov is a pro-Russian blogger from Crimea who publishes personal data of Crimeans who support Ukraine on his Telegram channel. As a result of such complaints, Crimeans are detained and brought to administrative and criminal responsibility for "discrediting" the Russian army.

It is known that the Ukrainian prosecutor's office has initiated criminal proceedings against Talipov under the article "incitement to national enmity and hatred". Also at the end of August 2023, the Ukrainian prosecutor's office announced that Talipov was suspected of collaboration.

Earlier, the autonomy's prosecutor's office announced suspicion of collaboration to the occupation Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea Albert Kurshutov. He faces a sentence of imprisonment for up to 10 years.

Also, two journalists of the Crimean TV channel Millet are suspected of calling for changing the borders of the territory of Ukraine and spreading enemy propaganda. In 2016, one of the suspects hosted a news program on Millet TV channel, in particular, issues dedicated to alleged "sabotage operations of Ukrainian special forces", "issues of oppression of Crimean Muslims by Ukraine", "fight against terrorism", etc. In 2017, another "journalist" hosted a socio-political talk show on the said TV channel with the participation of invited pro-Russian figures and representatives of the occupation authorities. In the propaganda programs, which were later broadcast on the Millet TV channel's page on YouTube and Rutube, the suspects repeatedly made public calls for changing the borders of the territory and state border of Ukraine.
