Road giants win the right to maintain roads in Odesa region for more than 2 billion

The Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa Oblast has held two tenders to select a contractor to be paid for the operational maintenance of public roads of national importance.

According to the Prozorro electronic procurement system, the winners of the tenders were Rostdorstroy Limited Liability Company and Avtomagistral-Pivden LLC.

Both procurements were held on March 19 in the format of open bidding with special features.

The first tender was attended by both companies, Vinnytsia Oblavtodor SE of OJSC SJSC Avtomobilni Dorogi Ukrainy, Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud LLC, and Eurodor LLC.

It was Rostdorstroy Limited Liability Company that won the tender: if the agreement is concluded, the company will have to maintain the roads until December 31, 2026, for UAH 1 billion 186 million 998 thousand.

In total, this tender involves 705 kilometers of roads.

Three companies from the previous procurement took part in the second procurement: "Rostdorstroy, Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud and Avtomagistral-Pivden. They were competing with Paritetbudinvest Construction Firm LLC.

Avtomagistral-Pivden LLC won this procurement. If the deal is concluded, the company will receive UAH 909 million 999 thousand 998, and the company will also have to maintain the roads until December 31, 2026.

In this case, we are talking about 543.8 kilometers of roads.

According to the YouControl service, the owners of Avtomagistral-Pivden LLC until September 2022 were Valeriy Korotkov and Oleh Nalyvanyi from Odesa. Currently, the ultimate beneficiary is Oleksandr Boyko, a resident of Odesa region.

The company is on the list of Ukravtodor's selected contractors who received the largest contracts during the Big Construction. In 2021 alone, Avtomagistral-Pivden received contracts worth UAH 58.9 billion.

The ultimate beneficiaries of Rostdorstroy LLC are currently Yurii Shumacher, a deputy of the Odesa City Council and a representative of the Trust the Deeds party, and businessman Yevhen Konovalov.

Earlier, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa Oblast held a tender to select a contractor to be paid for the operational maintenance of public roads of national importance.

Three companies participated in the tender, according to the Center for Public Investigations.

These are limited liability companies: " Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud, Rostdorstroy, and Paritetbudinvest Construction Company.

The winner was Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud LLC, which agreed to work for UAH 1 billion 227.2 million.
