Kherson Region Allocates ₴182M for Road Maintenance Tender by 2026

A tender for road maintenance is to be held in the Kherson region. More than 180 million has been allocated from the budget for this purpose. The work should be completed by the end of 2026.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system Prozorro.

The State Institution "Local Roads of Kherson Region" has announced an open tender for the provision of road maintenance services in the Beryslav district of the region.

The total expected value of the tender is UAH 182 million 803 thousand 584. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 1.8 million.

According to the announcement, the deadline for submitting bids is April 15, 2025. After submitting bids, participants will be able to take part in the auction, which will take place on the same day.

Proposals must be prepared based on the tender requirements, and participants will have to provide a bid security worth more than UAH 914 thousand. After the works are completed, payment will be made on the basis of acceptance certificates. The works are to be completed by the end of 2026.

Under the terms of the tender, the contractor must provide at least 11 units of equipment and relevant employees. In addition, it must provide information on the experience of fulfilling a similar contract. The works to be carried out by the winner of the tender include pothole repair, road surface restoration, replacement of road signs, painting of barrier fencing, etc.

Recently, a tender for road maintenance worth 180 million hryvnias was held in Kherson region, in which only one company, the European Road Construction Company, took part. The company regularly receives government contracts, particularly in Mykolaiv region, and often signs contracts without competition.

In addition, the Service for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in Kherson region announced four more tenders for road repairs in the village of Posad Pokrovske, which was heavily damaged by Russian shelling. The total amount earmarked for the repairs exceeds UAH 580 million.
