A mobile medical team has provided assistance to residents of Kherson Oblast communities.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
The report says that the team of doctors worked in the Beryslav, Novoraysk, Velyko Oleksandrivka, Dariivka and Tyahyn communities. Over the course of three days, the therapist and psychotherapist examined and consulted more than 80 residents. It is noted that among the patients are elderly people who have blood pressure and heart problems due to shelling and constant heat. The doctors also visited patients with limited mobility at home.
The visit was organized by CASERS as part of the Ukrainian Rapid Response Fund program implemented by IREX with the support of the U.S. Department of State.

Earlier it was reported that mobile medical teams in the Kherson region continue to provide assistance to children in the de-occupied territories. Thus, the mobile team of the Kherson Children's Regional Clinical Hospital makes two weekly visits to the settlements of the de-occupied Kherson region. The specialists provide medical care to the children of the complex. Doctors conduct medical examinations, provide consultations, prescribe treatment and, if necessary, provide the necessary medicines. Special attention is paid to dental care. Up to 100 children are treated free of charge in the mobile dental office every month.
It was also mentioned that about 900 residents of the Kherson region have already been examined on a mobile fluoroscope. This became possible thanks to the signing of a trilateral memorandum of understanding between the Kherson Regional State Administration's Health Department, the Phthisiopulmonary Medical Center, and the Médecins Sans Frontières - Belgium. In April, the mobile fluoroscope worked in 12 settlements of the Vysokopilska community. The field team consists of a radiologist and a nurse. The screening examination helps to diagnose tuberculosis and other diseases at an early stage.
