Relatives of the richest MPs and officials from Mykolaiv region received social benefits from the state

Almost 40% of the 50 richest families of Mykolaiv declarants in 2024 took advantage of the opportunity to receive state support, in particular for IDPs.

This is evidenced by the analysis of declarations for the past year conducted by Nikcenter.

For example,<b> Mykola Kapatsyna</b>, a deputy of<b> Mykolaiv</b> City Council, received UAH 4,000 in social benefits from the Social Policy Department of Chernivtsi City Council last year, and his wife received UAH 21,500 from the Kyiv Center for Social Benefits. In the same year, the total income of the Kapatsyna family amounted to UAH 34 million.

The wife of MP <b>David Arakhamia</b> received 62 thousand hryvnias of assistance from the Kyiv Center for the Calculation and Payment of Social Benefits. At the same time, Arakhamia's family's income for the year amounted to over UAH 9 million.

<b>Oleksandra Bereza</b>, the wife of the head of Mykolaiv's Central District Administration, received UAH 22,000 in social benefits in addition to her family's UAH 5 million income.

<b>Volodymyr Luuk</b>, deputy head of Mykolaiv customs, declared 10 thousand social payments in Kyiv received by his wife. His own salary for the year amounted to 743 thousand hryvnias, and the entrepreneurial income of his lawyer wife was over 8 million hryvnias.

<b>Hryhoriy Tashlyk</b>, a deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, despite his UAH 1.5 million salary and USD 300,000 in assets, received UAH 28,000 in housing allowance from the Cabinet of Ministers together with his wife.

<b>Oksana Petrenko </b>, deputy head of Halytsynivka village council <b>, </b>set a kind of "record". Together with her husband, a lawyer of the same village council, she declared about 100 thousand hryvnias of aid from state and charitable organizations. The monetary assets of the officials' family exceed UAH 10 million.

In 2024, the total income of the 50 richest families of deputies and officials in Mykolaiv region reached over UAH 348 million. Only ten declarants accounted for two-thirds of this amount. Yuriy Kormishkin, a former deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, topped the ranking with his declared income of UAH 67.2 million.
