The recruitment center of the 126th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces organized an open day in Odesa for informal communication with the citizens.

An Intent correspondent attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the townspeople were told about the history of the 126th Brigade's recruitment center, the available and current positions in the units, and the process of recruiting soldiers: from the completed application form to the start of service in the unit.

Ilya, a scout from the brigade, told Intent that people of all civilian specialties can become recruits.

"When I came here, I also had a different specialty from my current one. I think that if you are fit for service, you will be used," he said.

He said that he came to the center, was given a letter of appointment, and then underwent retraining at the interregional center and a course for young soldiers.

A representative of the recruiting center explained what a person needs to know to become a drone pilot. To do this, a person must have basic skills in working with drones, because the brigade does not always have the opportunity to train a recruit in this specialty from scratch.

The 126th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces (126th OBrTrO) is a territorial defense unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is a part of the 30th Marine Corps Command of the Ukrainian Marines. In 2022, following the Russian invasion, a brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces was established in Odesa.

Earlier in June, Intent.Insight spoke about recruiting with Oleh Baidalyuk , a representative of the recruiting center of the 21st separate mechanized brigade, on air.

Territorial centers for recruitment and social support in Odesa not only do not oppose recruitment centers, but actively cooperate with them.
