Record amount: maintenance of parks in Mykolaiv will rise 6 times

<span><span><span>In 2025, Mykolaiv plans to spend UAH 89 million from the city budget on the maintenance of squares, parks and green areas and public transport stops.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>This is evidenced by the tenders announced by the Mykolaiv Parks utility company for the purchase of services for the maintenance of squares, green areas and public transport stops in three districts of the city: Central, Korabelnyi and Ingulskyi.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>According to the terms of reference, the list of works includes</span></span></span>

• <span><span><span><span>cleaning the areas from garbage and dirt;</span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span>sweeping paths and removing grass from the slabs;</span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span>maintenance of lawns, trees, shrubs and flower beds;</span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span>cleaning trash bins and repairing benches and public transportation stops;</span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span>winter maintenance of paths (snow and ice removal, sprinkling with sand and salt mixture).</span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span>According to the tender documentation, the utility companies plan their expenses:</span></span></span>

• <span><span><span><span><span>Central district</span>: <span>UAH 13.5 million</span> will be spent on the maintenance of 22 green areas. The main objects include Tsentralnyi Avenue, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Park, Kvitkovyi and Horobynovyi parks, and others. It is also planned to maintain 38 public transport stops. UAH 25 million is also provided for landscaping services and maintenance of green spaces (Zoning 1)</span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span><span>Korabelnyi district</span>: maintenance of 72 green areas will cost <span>UAH 20 million</span>. The list includes such objects as Slavy, Soldatsky, and Olshantsiv parks.</span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span><span>Ingul district</span>: maintenance of 48 green areas, including the popular Kashtanovyi and Arkasivskyi squares and the Fleet Boulevard park, will cost 29.5<span> million hryvnias</span>.</span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>According to MikVisti </span>, the Mykolaiv Parks utility company<span> spent UAH 14.9 million on the maintenance of the amenities</span> from<span> January to September 2023. The largest amount was spent on the maintenance of parks, squares and green areas in Zavodskyi district - UAH 6 million 221 thousand 100. Maintenance of facilities in the Central district cost UAH 5 million 370 thousand 200. UAH 1 million 472 thousand 700 was spent in Korabelnyi district, and UAH 1 million 902 thousand 500 in Ingulskyi district.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>

• <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Central district - UAH 5.8 million, </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Korabelny district - UAH 4.3 million, </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>
• <span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Ingul district - UAH 326 thousand.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>
