Radiation shelter to be built in one of Kherson region's lyceums for more than 70 million

A radiation shelter is to be built on the territory of the Arkhangelsk Professional Agricultural Lyceum in Beryslav district for more than UAH 70 million.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to an announcement published on the public procurement website Prozorro.

The Arkhangelsk Professional Agrarian Lyceum announced the open bidding with specifics on December 13, 2024. The expected cost of the work is UAH 70 million 416 thousand. The winner of the tender will be able to build the shelter for two years - until December 25, 2026.

For example, at the end of November, Velyko Oleksandrivska Secondary School No. 2 in Beryslav District, Kherson Oblast, held an open tender with specific requirements for selecting a contractor to restore the school building. Only one participant, Ukrbud-project-reconstruction LLC, took part in the tender. The school is likely to sign a contract with it.

"Ukrbud-project-reconstruction has been on the market since 2015. The owner is David Kizimenko from Donetsk. The company is now registered in Kyiv. According to Bihus.info, David Kizimenko is the son of Oleh Kizimenko, a separatist official who remained there as deputy mayor of Sevastopol after the occupation of Crimea. The company's management was also suspected of overstating the cost of construction materials by 2-3 times when performing work in Sumy region.

Earlier, the Department of Territorial Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration, following an open tender with special conditions, twice signed an agreement with New Heat Technologies LLC for the overhaul of the building of Velyko Oleksandrivka Preschool Education Institution No. 2 of the Velyko Oleksandrivka Village Council. The first contract for UAH 37.2 million for the restoration of the kindergarten was signed in December 2023 and the second time, for the restoration of the same kindergarten, but for UAH 52.1 million.
