Russian troops attacked Odesa at night, causing a fire in a warehouse. The fire was caused by a hit, and there were no casualties.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa region.
At night, Odesa came under another enemy attack. The Russian army sent attack drones to the city, one of which hit a warehouse. As a result, a large-scale fire broke out and a truck was damaged nearby.
More than 40 rescuers from the State Emergency Service, the National Guard fire unit and volunteers quickly arrived at the scene. Together, they quickly localized the fire and completely eliminated it, preventing it from spreading to other buildings.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries.
On the night of September 2, Russian drones attacked the infrastructure of the Izmail Commercial Sea Port. The strikes caused fires, but there were no casualties or serious damage.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy used 150 Shahed attack drones and various types of imitation drones. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 120 enemy vehicles in the north, south, east, and center of the country. At the same time, 30 drones were hit in nine settlements, and debris fell in five locations.
On the night of August 20, Russian troops attacked Izmail district with Shahed kamikaze drones. As a result of the strikes, port infrastructure facilities were damaged, fires broke out, and one person was injured.
In addition, on the night of August 8, the enemy struck Odesa district. A sewage pumping station was partially destroyed, and the company's administrative and technical buildings were damaged. A security guard at the gas station was injured, as the blast wave smashed out the glass.
On the night of August 4, Russian troops again attacked the Odesa region with kamikaze drones. The fire damaged about 50 trade pavilions at the Radiomarket, eight of which were completely destroyed. Rescuers also extinguished a large-scale fire in an abandoned dormitory. A private house was damaged in Odesa district, and the Oleksandr Salik Municipal Theater was damaged in Odesa.
