The companies of Timur Mindich, who is currently hiding in Israel, exported grain through Odesa region, some of which was going to Iran to circumvent sanctions.

This was stated by former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in an interview with Vitaliy Portnikov.

According to him, he received this information from reliable sources, but it still needs to be confirmed.

"Mindich's companies were not only involved in barriers in the energy sector and corruption in the defense industry. Mindich's companies were involved in the lion's share of Ukraine's agricultural exports through the barrier in the port of Odesa. Part of this export went through Turkey to Iran in violation of sanctions. And this was organized by Mindich's people. Dear colleagues from Israel, I hope you will find this interesting," Petro Poroshenko said.

Meanwhile, journalists from Ukrainska Pravda said they had found businessman Timur Mindich in Israel. The journalists also found out that businessman Timur Mindich's investment fund had bought property rights to 77 apartments in a Kyiv business class residential complex a month before the start of the full-scale war.

On November 10, 2025, the media reported on NABU searches of the co-owner of the 95th block, businessman Timur Mindich. It was immediately reported that the businessman had left Ukraine a few hours before the searches.

The NABU later announced the exposure of a criminal organization whose main activity was the systematic receipt of illegal benefits from Energoatom's contractors in the amount of 10% to 15% of the value of contracts.

This scandal led to searches and interrogation of the then head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, who became a person of interest in the investigation. Andriy Yermak wrote a letter of resignation, which was approved by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
